About

This exceptional pianist, versatile artist, seasoned teacher and life-affirming multi talented woman, honoured with a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Maryland and a Gold Medal at the World Piano competition in Cincinnati in 2003, was born in Moscow to a family of professional pianists and has led a life shaped by music, the fine arts and an open world view. 

Since her orchestral debut with Haydn piano concerto at age 8 Anastasia Voltchok has performed extensively throughout Western and Eastern Europe and the United States to a high critical acclaim. 

On tour Voltchok appeared with the Mariinsky Orchestra St.Petersburg and Valery Gergiev, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and Mario Venzago, the Bamberger Symphoniker, the Hamburger Symphoniker, Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, Sao Paolo Philharmonic Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfonica de Navarra, Kremerata Baltica.

In recital among recent highlights are performances at New York’s Lincoln Center, Tonhalle Zurich, Santa Cecilia in Rome, Victoria Hall Geneva, the Gulbenkian in Lisbon.

Anastasia Voltchok is guest artist at the Grafenegg Festival in Austria, La Roque d’Anthéron Piano Festival and the Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli Piano Festival in Bergamo and Breschia, Italy.

Voltchok collaborates closely with conductors and soloists, such as Martha Argerich, Renaud Capucon, Michal Nesterowicz, Dennis Russell Davies, Roman Kofman, Gidon Kremer and Lava Shani

Voltchok’s performances have been broadcast all over Europe and in the United States.

Since her early childhood pianist dedicated her free time to painting and poetry. The three poetry books by Anastasia Voltchok were published with Kostaprint and Stella publishing. As a visual artist Anastasia exhibits regularly in solo and group shows throughout the world.
